Headquartered in Germany, Krannich Solar is a Photovoltaic (PV) System distributor with over 1200 employees and 31 branches in 27 countries. Beginning as a two-man operation; Krannich now have 25 year’s experience in the renewable energy industry, working with installers and planners of PV systems and providing support through every stage.

With company values of “collaboration, future focus, and flexibility,” passionate Founder and Managing Director, Kurt Krannich, leads the company with a clear vision that actions “have meaning and contribute towards reaching [their] vision of 100% renewable energies.” This is something that aligns the collaboration between each company and a legacy PowerPlus also hopes to leave.

Together, PowerPlus and Krannich Solar can greater our chances towards Australia’s Net Zero Plan and legislated targets of a 43% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, and zero emissions by 2050. Supporting renewable community efforts in an industry where demands will only grow, and solar systems are considered “the fastest growing energy type in Australia.”

PowerPlus Energy and Krannich Solar have been in partnership since February this year already seeing positive outcomes. Recently, Krannich Solar’s Brisbane Managing Director, Marc-Aurel Bauer, and Melbourne Managing Director, Derek Marsden, took time to discuss this exciting step.

Discuss how the partnership with PowerPlus began.

David (Vic BDM): “From meeting the Krannich team at All Energy last year, there was a clear benefit to be had for both companies from establishing a partnership. It’s exciting to be associated with an internationally well-recognised and respected company.”

Derek: “Krannich Solar has a long reputation for distributing quality solar system products, so it was inevitable that PowerPlus and Krannich Solar would one day strike up a partnership.
