Beginning as a two-man operation; Krannich now have 25 year’s experience in the renewable energy industry, working with installers and planners of PV systems and providing support through every stage.

PowerPlus Energy and Krannich Solar have been in partnership since February this year already seeing positive outcomes. Recently, Krannich Solar’s Brisbane Managing Director, Marc-Aurel Bauer, and Melbourne Managing Director, Derek Marsden, took time to discuss this exciting step.

Reaching out to explore a possible partnership, we hit it off immediately, quickly identifying how we could assist each other reach our goals in a mutually beneficial manner.”
Marc: “We had a few discussions over the past years, and it seemed 2024 was the right timing for this partnership and Krannich is extremely excited to work with PowerPlus, growing together in Australia.”
Derek: “Krannich Solar’s International European roots and financial strength…lead by a visible hands-on owner allows us to retain that family company feel. Something that underpins PowerPlus as well.”
Marc: “I see the similarities that [both companies] have. Family business and values, long term relationships between Krannich and suppliers and the people on the ground supporting customers day by day.”
Derek: “Our customers welcome the opportunity to gain access to a quality Australian Manufactured batteries. Not only assisting their clients to do their part in reducing fossil fuel reliance but also supporting local Australian manufacturing.”
Marc: “Customers love Australian made and the PowerPlus battery is the perfect fit for inverters we are already selling successfully to the market.”
Derek: “Off-grid and backup systems both large and small are becoming more popular. Many existing off-grid systems are switching to lithium based batteries further driving demand for batteries.”
Derek: “We work with staff to train them to a high level of technical knowledge across our product range to enable us to fulfil the role of the trusted advisor. We also run our annual Battery Days in Brisbane and Melbourne where over 100 attendees gain direct access to our manufacturing partners and receive CPD training. Further to this [we] sponsor all SEIA conferences and run multiple roadshows.”
